Item Types

Items can be categorized into four distinct types to accommodate different business models:

Product - Physical goods such as clothes, food, supplements, or any tangible merchandise that requires inventory management.

Booking - Time-based access items like events, gym sessions, classes, or car wash appointments that require scheduling.

Service - General services including consultancy, courses, SaaS subscriptions, or any non-physical offering.

Donation - Charity and fundraising items that support custom donation amounts and contribution tracking.

Service Types

The service type defines how an item is fulfilled to customers:

Delivery - Shipped physical items (available only for product type)

Pickup - In-store pickup items (available only for product type)

Delivery or Pickup - Items supporting both fulfillment methods (available only for product type)

Access - Check-in items requiring presence or validation (for service & booking types)

Digital - Virtual items delivered electronically (applicable to all types)

Managing Items

You can manage your items through the Techrar portal and programmatically via our APIs.

Browse Items

Navigate to Items in your dashboard under Inventory Management to view all your items with their current stock levels, pricing, and status.

Browse items using List Items with various filters like type, category, or status

Create Item

Create new items using the create button in the Items section, where you can configure all item properties including type, pricing, and variations.
