Carts

Shopping carts allow customers to collect items before completing their purchase, enabling flexible shopping experiences and abandoned cart recovery.
Carts Are Optional
You can place orders via checkout without the need to work with carts. See examples in Checkout Flow.

Customer Usage#

Common Use Cases: Build shopping cart functionality, implement save-for-later features, create abandoned cart recovery flows, provide cart persistence across sessions.

Create Cart#

Each time a new client visits your website/store, even for guest users, create a cart using Create Cart endpoint.

Update Cart#

Add or remove items from the cart using Update Cart endpoint.
Cart Ownership
If a customer logs into your system, you can claim the cart to that customer profile. Make sure the customer is created in techrar system. See Customers
