Sales Channel Profile

Configure your marketplace settings and manage provider connections.

Overview#

Your Sales Channel profile controls how providers connect to your marketplace, listing policies, and operational settings. Manage provider requests, set commission rates, and configure your channel's visibility to Techrar merchants.
Contact [email protected] to enable Sales Channel features for your account.

Managing Providers#

Merchants will request to be listed in your channel. You control which providers appear in your marketplace through approval and activation.

Manage Providers Via Portal#

Navigate to Sales Channel → Providers
Access the providers management section in your merchant portal.

Review Pending Requests
View all incoming connection requests from providers who want to list their plans in your marketplace.

Accept or Reject Requests
Evaluate providers based on your criteria:
Quality standards
Service area coverage
Menu variety
Customer ratings
Accept suitable providers or reject with optional feedback.

Manage Active Connections
Control existing provider connections:
Activate: Enable provider listings in your marketplace
Deactivate: Temporarily hide provider without removing connection
Remove: Permanently disconnect provider

Provider Connection States#

StateDescription
PendingProvider requested connection, awaiting your approval
ConnectedYou accepted the request, provider is activated
DisconnectedProvider temporarily hidden from marketplace
RejectedConnection request declined

Listing Policies (Coming Soon)#

Your Sales Channel will operate in one of two modes:

list_all (Automatic)#

Approved providers automatically appear in your marketplace
No manual activation required
Faster onboarding for providers
Best for: Marketplaces with high trust in Techrar's provider network

on_request (Manual)#

Manually review and approve each provider listing
Full control over marketplace inventory
Additional quality control layer
Best for: Curated marketplaces with specific standards
This feature is coming soon. Currently, Techrar manages listings on your behalf based on your provider approvals.
